TJ
So since I couldn't think of any more witty ways to say more random BS I will call this one TJ. I just went to build a bear and made my old lady a bear, I named him TJ. Anyways back at work for the last 3 weeks, I miss vacation. Work has picked up which is nice cause maybe we will finally start getting bonus but working for it.... My boss accused me twice in the last 2 weeks of being hung over and told me to get some sleep at night. Funny thing it was the two nights I had a drink or less the night before. The days I feel like shit nothing! We had beer olympics one weekend since I have been back, I learned not to start drink tequila at 9 am, it makes for a long day and a long next day. I am up to the third season of the Shield. That is a wicked awesome show.... It is sad that summer is almost over and the way things are going I dont have NHL to look forward to. Not only does that suck to not have anything watch but it totally ruins my various pools. Saw Metallica, it was fucking sick. I am so glad they didn't play barely any new shitty shit and stuck to all the classics. Hatfields and McCoys is a great series, I recommend anyone watch it. I would say Ole Ran McCoy got the worst in that. Also Arkham City is amazing, but really why do they always kill the Joker? Its not like he is gonna stay dead. The Dark Knight Rises was awesome. I cant believe that whack job killed all those people in Colorado. My co-ed hockey team sucks but at least we won a couple games. This season though, the playoffs everyone makes it. So if we did pull some magical miracle on ice we could win hahahaha no way. Also my roommate finally noticed that the sex chair squeaks. I got a new roommate downstairs, El Queero Diablo I call him. Yes he is the gay devil. Anywho I should go bbq since people are waiting on me.

End of Vic
So dinner... It was great. Well first it was a panic, I shaved showered and then couldn't find the nice button up shirt I brought. It was in my carry on bag so in the end it was okay but a small heart attack when I thought I booked a nice dinner and was gonna have to go in a skate shirt. We had mussels and calamari to start. It was the best Calamari I have ever had. PS it was at Lure in the Delta hotel. She had pasta and I had the pork loin. Not the best pork loin but she liked her pasta. I got her a half litre of wine. I said I was gonna have some but it was really for her, I stuck to rum n coke. She had some sort of dessert cake, it was chocolate. We had the waitress take a few pictures of us. The bill was a bit more than I thought but it was worth it. I took pictures of her around the hotel, she liked it and I had a good time. It was an early bed after that....
Saturday was our last day. We went looking for De Vine wine in town and found it. Then we had squash, which I would really like to get back into. Then we had a nice brunch in the harbour, at milestones it was great. It was over 30 degrees so it was hot and sticky. Then made a pig of myself and had a float from the soda shoppe and picked up chocolates at rogers. I was sickly full and had a small nap before we went to Butchart. That place is sick! I loved all the gardens. Sadly when we were done we had to wait 2 hours to see the nightly fireworks display. Which also was amazing, I cant believe that people wait hours for that. I get it, it was cool and I liked it. But really I never understood fireworks what is the draw??? Then we drove back to the hotel, sadly it was a quiet night if you know what I mean. We had to be up and going by 7 AM. The best part was we saw Clay Morrow in the Victoria airport... Ron Pearlman is mean looking wether he is on TV, movies or in person. I didnt say hi but I really should have. Anyways that was Vic, it was a super fun Vac-ay and I am kinda sad to be home...

Vic days 3 4 5ish...
So day 3 was half done, we had sandwiches in the room a couple drinks and went down to the Soda Shoppe for a Sundae. I also had the Hawian dog which is just like the pizza but on a hot dog. It was better than it sounds and it sounds frickin good. But the main deal was three scoops of diffrent kinda of ice cream with hot fudge and sprinkles.... Awesome, I mean that straight up awesome! Ghostly walks is interesting. The thing is it really only goes a few blocks but it does have some intresting stories. About a factory built above a grave and the shit that happened to the families who owned the land. The man who who built the Empress, Joe the thug who haunts Hombolt. Robert Service, some dude and his hooker and a few more. The only thing was I should have wore some jeans and a long sleeve shirt as it was cold.
Day 4 started same as all coffee and this time some warm cereal. The old lady and I had a few serious talks which werent that pleasant but then we played a game of squash. I love 5 star hotels and forgot how much I love squash. A shower, a snack and we were off to the wineries. We went to De Vine for a tasting. The winery sits on a nice hill, that I was worried to drive the Fiesta up. The problem was a tour had just come and the taster?? seemed much to busy to help us. After getting grumpy we left to look for more wineries. All of them were closed, so with tail between legs we went back. I shot the shit with the tour driver, he was a good old guy. Telling us all the "closed" ones were open just drive up but we stayed cause now it was just us. The wine was great, not gonna lie we bought 2 bottles. On the other hand the taster treated us like we were hicks. I dont like being spoke down to, but he was also nice so I have such mixed feelings. Anyways it is good wine, I would recommend it. We went to Church and State next. They had a white I really liked and I hate white but the reds gave me heart burn. I dunno if you are going to go to wineries I would say go to the little guy cause Church and State is almost too much a business and less a tourist attraction. Also people smarten up. 99 percent of you would be experts have no clue. People like what they like, yes you can describe the taste and flavour but dont be so pretensious (spelling error) as to say if it is a good wine. More than half of you are never going to go to Italy or France or Spain to taste wines so just drop the act! We came back, had another serious conv and then went out to Darcys pub for dinner. Another great place, I have no complaints about any food I have had in Vic. I got the old lady to have a shot and a couple beers which is a record for her in Vic. We came back and I love our King Sized bed.
Day 5 we were out of milk, so no coffee or no fruit loops. We walked downtown to find me a Timmies, BC you need to get some more TImmies Starbuck I am sorry but you suck. As a note for anyone on vacation if you need a shitter almost any tourist place has one just dont walk in and ask were it is, pretend like your there for the attraction. Then we took a 45 minute horse carriage ride. It was very nice through Beacon hill and James Bay. Of course hippies have to fuck things up. Some PETA shit heads were waiting to holler at us. Some day when my friend Tom rules the world he promises me stupid people will be outlawed including you, you stupid PETA fucks. Serious if that had been a wedding or something why do you douches need to yell, is it fun to ruin peoples days? Then we went to Irish times for the 3rd time and I finally had chowder it was awesome. Also I was super impressed that the waitress remembered our order and even that we were from E town. I mean I know I am sexy but... We had a drink at Garricks Head so we could take some pictures. We walked Bastion Square, the old lady wouldnt let me buy her a massage! They had nice shit but way over priced. She bought presents for her parents. I bought some cigars and now we are sitting chilling before our "romantic meal" I gotsta shave and shower soon. Maybe make it to the hot tub tonight. Sadly tomorrow is our last day. We have a squash date in the AM and Bouchart in the evening. Wanna go grab another bottle of De Vine in James bay at some point and maybe have another drink in JBI. So far it has been a pretty sweet week.

Vic day 2 n 3ish
SO day 2 started good. Fruit loops in the room and then off to the city centre. Of course it was too early and market square and most the shops werent open. But I did show the old lady fan tan alley. Most things were way over priced. Went down to the Royal BC museum. I haven't ever been to a museum before that I can remember other than the lame GP one. I have mixed feelings.... It was nothing like how Preston and Child make museums sound on the other hand it was pretty cool! The Queen E II exibit was kinda lame but the rest was pretty sweet. Had a small break and went to the Empress to walk the gardens. Not going to lie, they also were kind of a let down. I remember them being much greener, they were nice but not great. I also dont understand the whole greatness of that hotel. Yes it is a Fairmont and yes it is old but people lets frickin upgrade. Then we watched the IMAX on dinosaurs, that is one big screen. I bought a $3 dollar ring, I need to remember which hand the wedding band goes on or I may look like a fool in the future. Then we went to the bard and banker, a Scottish pub. I hear years ago it was actually a bank. It is pretty ritzy titzy but in reality it has good food at a fair price. The BLT was to die for, yes that sounds dramatic but it is true. Walking back to the hotel we looked at the menu for Irish Times pub and decided to come back for dinner. we sat in the hotel and vegged out, I started an urban spoon account and played with that for a bit. A false fire alarm went off in the hotel, serious how do people get so worked up? If there was a fire you might smell smoke, see flames... In short dont panic. Went to Irish Times, great food however they were out of oysters I wanted! Ya urban spoon will hear about that! But the Old Lady loved her Chowder, I admit it was pretty damn good. An Irish band played some good music, I do love Galway girl and they did a great cover. We stopped at the smoke shop and I bought my first cigar in along time. Side bar... I need to find a way to import cuban cigars, selling them could easily pay my debts or pay to go to Havana at least. Stopped at the Soda Shoppe to scope it out, thinking we may be cheesy and go there tonight. Walked the harbour again, some old fucker gave me an elbow. I really should let it go according to the old lady but I hate rude fucks. I understand bumping but this was an actual elbow and no sorry or excuse me or anything, why am I not aloud to stab stupid rude people? As long as I have been coming to Vic the same vendors have hawked their wares on the harbour. She wanted to buy a picture I did along time ago but thought better of it. The rest of the night was tv and sleep. No sex tape.
So far day 3 has been pretty sweet, some TV and getting ready in the morning. We went to Craigdarroach, my 3rd or 4th time?? It is still sweet every time. I wish one day I could say I had the money to build my dream house. Also life musta sucked back then fireplaces and shit rather than furnaces.... We tried to drive to a winery but I guess that wine makers only do shows on Thursday through Sunday. On the bright side I found a Timmies in Saanich. We came back to the hotel and went to Irish Times again. The old lady loved the the chowder again, I finally got my oysters and it was worth it! We went to chapters and found nothing but after walking the harbour again she booked a horse carriage ride Friday. Also she bought one of those tin can paintings that you see a lot of in Mexico. Know what I mean, they are awesome looking but painted with household items...? I saw lots of them in Mexico. Anyways came back and here I am. Ghostly walks tonight, squash, winery and hopefully diner with friends tomorrow...
