Vic day 2 n 3ish

SO day 2 started good. Fruit loops in the room and then off to the city centre. Of course it was too early and market square and most the shops werent open. But I did show the old lady fan tan alley. Most things were way over priced. Went down to the Royal BC museum. I haven't ever been to a museum before that I can remember other than the lame GP one. I have mixed feelings.... It was nothing like how Preston and Child make museums sound on the other hand it was pretty cool! The Queen E II exibit was kinda lame but the rest was pretty sweet. Had a small break and went to the Empress to walk the gardens. Not going to lie, they also were kind of a let down. I remember them being much greener, they were nice but not great. I also dont understand the whole greatness of that hotel. Yes it is a Fairmont and yes it is old but people lets frickin upgrade. Then we watched the IMAX on dinosaurs, that is one big screen. I bought a $3 dollar ring, I need to remember which hand the wedding band goes on or I may look like a fool in the future. Then we went to the bard and banker, a Scottish pub. I hear years ago it was actually a bank. It is pretty ritzy titzy but in reality it has good food at a fair price. The BLT was to die for, yes that sounds dramatic but it is true. Walking back to the hotel we looked at the menu for Irish Times pub and decided to come back for dinner. we sat in the hotel and vegged out, I started an urban spoon account and played with that for a bit. A false fire alarm went off in the hotel, serious how do people get so worked up? If there was a fire you might smell smoke, see flames... In short dont panic. Went to Irish Times, great food however they were out of oysters I wanted! Ya urban spoon will hear about that! But the Old Lady loved her Chowder, I admit it was pretty damn good. An Irish band played some good music, I do love Galway girl and they did a great cover. We stopped at the smoke shop and I bought my first cigar in along time. Side bar... I need to find a way to import cuban cigars, selling them could easily pay my debts or pay to go to Havana at least. Stopped at the Soda Shoppe to scope it out, thinking we may be cheesy and go there tonight. Walked the harbour again, some old fucker gave me an elbow. I really should let it go according to the old lady but I hate rude fucks. I understand bumping but this was an actual elbow and no sorry or excuse me or anything, why am I not aloud to stab stupid rude people? As long as I have been coming to Vic the same vendors have hawked their wares on the harbour. She wanted to buy a picture I did along time ago but thought better of it. The rest of the night was tv and sleep. No sex tape.

So far day 3 has been pretty sweet, some TV and getting ready in the morning. We went to Craigdarroach, my 3rd or 4th time?? It is still sweet every time. I wish one day I could say I had the money to build my dream house. Also life musta sucked back then fireplaces and shit rather than furnaces.... We tried to drive to a winery but I guess that wine makers only do shows on Thursday through Sunday. On the bright side I found a Timmies in Saanich. We came back to the hotel and went to Irish Times again. The old lady loved the the chowder again, I finally got my oysters and it was worth it! We went to chapters and found nothing but after walking the harbour again she booked a horse carriage ride Friday. Also she bought one of those tin can paintings that you see a lot of in Mexico. Know what I mean, they are awesome looking but painted with household items...? I saw lots of them in Mexico. Anyways came back and here I am. Ghostly walks tonight, squash, winery and hopefully diner with friends tomorrow...
