So dinner... It was great. Well first it was a panic, I shaved showered and then couldn't find the nice button up shirt I brought. It was in my carry on bag so in the end it was okay but a small heart attack when I thought I booked a nice dinner and was gonna have to go in a skate shirt. We had mussels and calamari to start. It was the best Calamari I have ever had. PS it was at Lure in the Delta hotel. She had pasta and I had the pork loin. Not the best pork loin but she liked her pasta. I got her a half litre of wine. I said I was gonna have some but it was really for her, I stuck to rum n coke. She had some sort of dessert cake, it was chocolate. We had the waitress take a few pictures of us. The bill was a bit more than I thought but it was worth it. I took pictures of her around the hotel, she liked it and I had a good time. It was an early bed after that....
Saturday was our last day. We went looking for De Vine wine in town and found it. Then we had squash, which I would really like to get back into. Then we had a nice brunch in the harbour, at milestones it was great. It was over 30 degrees so it was hot and sticky. Then made a pig of myself and had a float from the soda shoppe and picked up chocolates at rogers. I was sickly full and had a small nap before we went to Butchart. That place is sick! I loved all the gardens. Sadly when we were done we had to wait 2 hours to see the nightly fireworks display. Which also was amazing, I cant believe that people wait hours for that. I get it, it was cool and I liked it. But really I never understood fireworks what is the draw??? Then we drove back to the hotel, sadly it was a quiet night if you know what I mean. We had to be up and going by 7 AM. The best part was we saw Clay Morrow in the Victoria airport... Ron Pearlman is mean looking wether he is on TV, movies or in person. I didnt say hi but I really should have. Anyways that was Vic, it was a super fun Vac-ay and I am kinda sad to be home...
